Karma – You become what you think!

Karma is simple.

What you sow, so you reap!

We have it in science as well.

And, Sir Isaac Newton explained it through the Third Law of Motion, “For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.”

Karma is derived from the Sanskrit word, Kriya. Kriya means action. While karma has been given a grey shade, it is not always negative.

Karma is often misunderstood as a philosophical doctrine, whereas it has the potential to predetermine your entire future. While your past actions/thoughts do have an impact on the present and future, the presence of freewill gives you an opportunity to shift the karmic impact of the past actions/thoughts. In essence, if you change your present actions/thoughts, you can change your future.

The entire concept of karma is based on the idea of intent. The intent behind every action is as crucial as the action itself. It just implies that you can create the reality you desire by changing the way you think.  It can be considered as the omnipotent force that steers your path every moment, leading you towards your destiny.

Here, thought becomes the contribution and reality becomes what you receive. And, through the principle of cause and effect, you start living in a reality [effect] that were created by your thoughts.

Karma is very flexible and agile. It just reflects what you think. And, that is what great teachers have put. The external world reflects the inner thoughts. What you feel within you is what you experience.

Every single word, thought, action, and attitude of yours gives rise to karma, consciously or unconsciously. While it is said that you inherit karma from your ancestors, you can also transform the energy of the inherited karma into positive one by mindfully steering your thoughts.

By becoming more aware of your thoughts and actions, and by cultivating mindfulness and compassion, you can begin to transform your lives and the world around you.
